Clinical Standard

Early Detection Saves Lives.

Skin cancer is one of the most common cancers in the United States, and Florida's year-round sun exposure increases risk significantly. Early detection is critical. Our team performs comprehensive head-to-toe exams using polarized dermatoscopy to identify suspicious lesions that are invisible to the untrained eye.

"

Advanced Dermatoscopy. We utilize polarized dermatoscopy to examine the subsurface architecture of every suspicious lesion. This non-invasive tool magnifies the skin 10x and reveals pigment networks, vascular patterns, and structural changes that distinguish benign moles from early cancers. Combined with our clinical expertise, this provides the highest level of diagnostic accuracy.

We perform an in-office biopsy immediately. The sample is sent to a dermatopathologist and results are typically available within one week.

Is the screening covered by insurance?

Modern Dermatology is a direct-care practice with transparent pricing. We provide a superbill for potential out-of-network reimbursement.

What should I look for at home?
